Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq 25 inch long Premium Slim Weatherproof White LED Boat Strip Light in the black aluminum housing. Now, this is a nice low-profile LED strip light that'll produce a nice bright white light for marine applications like on pontoons and speedboats, and this one is the premium design, so it does have twice as many LEDs, 30 of them, as the standard version for increased light output. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to connect this light to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is, but I first wanna go over some of its features. Just wanna zoom in here to give you a closeup. Uses a weatherproof casing, which would protect the LEDs against dirt, dust, and water. more

Has a nice weatherproof casing on it, protects the LEDs against dirt, dust, and water, and they use premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant, they are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation, and this is constructed using military grade construction of the circuit board, gives you urethane potting, which offers better protection than the common epoxy potting, and you can see, this is all in a nice black aluminum housing, with the sealed end caps. If I go to the end here and you can see they have a, oops, let's go to the other end, right over here, you can see there's a sealed end cap on, on both ends. more

If you look on the ends, you can see we have these end caps on it, and it is a nice clear lens over 30 white LEDs, and this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. more

It is also sealed and waterproof, it's got a polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens unit that are sealed, so that you're not gonna have to worry about water getting in there and causing any issues for you. It's got an IP rating of 68, so again, it's gonna be great for your boats and docks or other applications that are close to water, where you could potentially get wet. It is nice and small, compact sized, so you can see our overall width there just over an inch, we'll call it 1 1/8 of an inch wide by approximately 3/8 of an inch tall, and right about half an inch thick. more
